This little route marked the first walk in our Coastal Cure Series for National Walking Month in May. It’s a short, wild and wonderful walk, where - just for a moment - you feel you could be in a different world completely. We set of at 7pm of a Saturday for a sunset walk and swim and had the cove totally to ourselves. It was magical!

Parking/Start Point: Bolberry Down National Trust Car Park .

Distance 1.8mi

Duration: 1hrs active walking time plus extra time to swim and picnic at the cove

Difficulty: Beginner friendly - there is one large descent and down into the cove and consequently one large ascent. You’ll want sturdy shoes for this one.

Elevation: 424ft
