Brunch Club - Gathering In

In collaboration with Lucy Macgregor, join us for this very special Brunch Club as we draw on the wisdom of the natural world to begin our descent into the colder months that lie ahead.

As the leaves begin to turn and the days gently draw inward, we invite you to a nourishing morning of reconnection, reflection, and rest.

Summer pulls us outward — into expansion, activity, sunlight. As we step into autumn, the season of letting go and returning home, we are offered a quiet invitation: to gather in Community. To come home to ourselves.

And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.
— Anaïs Nin

This workshop is a space to gently transition with the seasons — moving from outward radiance into inner grounding. Through an embodied blend of seasonal yoga, Chinese Medicine wisdom, breathwork and Reiki-infused rest we’ll honour the shift from yang to yin, and explore what it means to return to centre.

After our morning workshop we’ll celebrate nature’s bounty with a nourishing, homemade brunch.

Expect slow presence. Intentional movement. Deep listening. Sisterhood. Stillness. Warmth. And food made with love.

A few words on Five Element Theory

Enjoy a gentle dive into Five Elements theory, as we look to the rhythms of the natural world to better understand this ancient framework. As opposed to static ‘things’, we can think of these elements as dynamic phases of change - interwoven and interdependent. Each element has a season to which is it tied :

Wood - Spring

Fire - Summer

Earth - Late Summer

Metal - Autumn

Water - Winter

After the uprising yang of the Wood and Fire element of spring and summer, followed by the balanced Earth element of late summer, the drawing down energy of the Metal element in Autumn represents the beginning of the yin cycle.

Autumn begins a descent and turning inwards - as we look to the landscape at this time of year we can see this this fundamental ‘drawing down’ energy in the angle of the sun, the temperature in the air and the leaves on the trees. Is a time when nature discards what is no longer of use, and retains what is of greatest value to life, and we can do the same.
