for the love of walking

Join me for Wiltshire based tramps, coddiwomples along the South West Coast Path and adventures farther afield.

“We’re all just walking each other home”

- Ram Das

There’s no better tonic than a healthy dose of fresh air - no matter how comfy the couch feels or how many to-dos are on the list!

And there’s little sweeter than walking in good company.

For a start, there’s:

  • someone to share your steaming flask of spiced tea with

  • someone beside you as you trudge up an unexpectedly steep hill muttering part encouragement, part expletives under your breath

  • someone to agree that it really would be rude not to divert via the cafe known for their particularly great cake

  • the list goes on - I’d love to hear yours on our next walk

Wild Cove - Jurassic Coast

We’re on a road trip to the Jurassic coast! Enjoy a walk through dramatic landscape to Chapman’s Pool - a secluded, horse shoe cove home to clear blue waters and an array of hidden fossils. Pack your swimming costume and snorkel (if you have one) and enjoy a wild swim surrounded by jagged cliffs and lush fields. We’ll end our walk with a pint and pasty at the local pub the Square and Compass (which also has a small fossil museum) before heading home.

Golden Sands, Turquoise Waters - South Devon

Join me for a night at the remote village of East Prawle nestled in Devon’s most southerly outcrop. Set in South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this lesser know area of coastline is full of rugged awe inspiring views. Venture along the South West Coast Path to Devon’s most southerly point, swim at a ‘secret’ cove that only appears when the tide goes out revealing golden sands and turquoise water and enjoy a picnic lunch with a view.
