LIGHTNESS OF HEART

a seaside walking, swimming and nature connection retreat

creating space for laughter, community, and a return to what truly matters

21 - 24 November 2025

Join us this spring in the wild beauty of St Agnes, Cornwall, for a weekend of gentle adventure, heartful connection, and soul nourishment.

Immerse yourself in the kind of company that lets you breathe a little deeper.

Together, we'll walk the coastal paths, swim in salty waters, and open ourselves to the lightness and joy that this season brings.

Through simple nature connection practices, shared meals, and a balance of moments of play and stillness, we'll reconnect with ourselves, each other, and the natural world.

Whether you come to reset, to reflect, or simply to be held in good company — you are warmly welcome.

Come as you are. Let yourself be held by the land, the sea, and the gentle rhythm of spring returning. Leave with your heart a little lighter.

“There is a quiet light that shines in every heart. It draws no attention to itself though it is always secretly there. It is what illuminates our minds to see beauty, our desire to seek possibility and our hearts to love life. Without this subtle quickening our days would be empty and wearisome, and no horizon would ever awaken our longing. Our passion for life is quietly sustained from somewhere in us that is wedded to the energy and excitement of life. This shy inner light is what enables us to recognize and receive our very presence here as blessing.” - John O’donohue

8.5 miles, 4.5hrs approx walking time + breaks, total ascent: 1769 ft

Just along the coast from St Agnes lies Holywell Bay — a wide, golden sweep of sand framed by rolling dunes and the twin Gull Rocks rising from the sea.

Tucked into the northern cliffs, there is a cave which gives the bay its name. Inside, mineral-rich water drips over terraced rock, creating bands of green, pink, and ochre. Long regarded as a place of healing and renewal, the well has an atmosphere of quiet reverence — a natural sanctuary shaped by time, tide, and stone.

Mindfulness and nature connection practices

During our walks, we’ll weave in simple practices to help you slow down and tune in to the natural world around you.

We’ll also practice small pockets of heart focused breathing during our time together, centering in the heart to cultivate connection and collective care.

Early morning swims

Start your morning with a bracing and energising dip at Trevaunance cove. Or, if you’re not a morning person - enjoy a cosy lie in.

Our Accommodation - Little Orchard Village

Simple cosy chalets in a wooded valley within walking distance of Trevaunance Cove and St Agnes village. Fall asleep to the sound of the resident owl and awaken to a dawn chorus.

Weather permitting, we’ll be spending most of our time outdoors and the chalets serve as a simple place to rest our heads and enjoy a warm shower before bed!
