Social Stroll: Path and Pages Journalling Walk, Wembury Beach/ Haybrook Bay

Paths and Pages

A women’s wellbeing offering discovering gratitude, creativity, and community through walking and journaling along the coast path - Wembury, South Devon.

If you're looking for a relaxed way to meet new people, enjoy nature, and do something lovely for yourself, you're in the right place! Join us for an uplifting, social morning that’s all about connection and discovering your creative side (even if you think you don’t have one!)

We’ll start with a gentle walk perfect for easy chatting and getting to know the group. Once we've stretched our legs, we'll pause and gather for a warm flask and share some delicious treats, where we’ll pull our our notebooks for a fun, no-pressure journaling session which will leave you feeling inspired and ready to continue to explore your new practice at home! Helen will guide us through simple, stress-free techniques to help us celebrate ourselves, release our thoughts, and find ways to make the ordinary moments of everyday life feel beautiful.

And please, don't worry—you do not need to be 'creative' or have ever journaled before to join us!

In fact, if you’re anything like Camille, you might have a beautiful collection of completely blank notebooks sitting at home because something blocks you from actually writing on that first page! Helen used to feel exactly the same way, never considering herself "creative" until she discovered that a journal can simply be a safe, quiet place to play, explore, and find focus in a noisy world.

Come along for a bright, friendly experience to help you shake off the weekly rush, top up your energy and connect with yourself and others.

This morning is for you if...

  • You want to slow down, clear your head, and enjoy a few hours of uninterrupted calm.

  • You’d love to meet and connect with a warm, welcoming community of like-minded women.

  • You love the idea of journaling but don’t know where to start (or want to dust off those blank notebooks!).

  • You simply want to enjoy nature, good conversation, and a peaceful pause in your week.

Meet you facilitators:

Helen

I first started journaling on a daily basis back in around 2014. I had reached a point in my life where I really wanted to find some focus, make some big changes and learn to tune into my true self and desires, which can be so difficult in such a noisy and demanding world. Journaling proved the perfect way to do exactly this.

I started using my journal to reflect on my days, make plans for the future, focus on gratitude and help bring about a more positive and resilient mindset. Since making journaling a part of my daily life, I have experienced so many benefits that it’s become my mission to help others feel the same too.

I had never considered myself creative at all until I started journaling, but somehow those pages became a safe place to play, explore and learn to express myself. Helping others lean into their, often neglected, creative side is something I love to do.

Over the years, that passion has turned into my full-time career. Since I started sharing my journaling journey online, I’ve been lucky enough to have three books published, launch my own product range, teach lots of online classes, be featured by media outlets such as Grazia, The Simple Things Magazine and Daily Mail, along with interviews on many podcasts and featured in a range of books and magazines.

Camille

I’m a firm believer that you don’t need to be an expert hiker or a seasoned pro to find magic in the outdoors. My own journey began when I set off on a 630 mile adventure on the South West Coast Path - with shoes that were a little too big, a borrowed backpack, and a simple desire to find a bit of space to breathe. That walk taught me that we don't need a perfect plan to begin; we just need to take the first step.

For me, walking is about so much more than reaching a destination. It’s about the joy of moving through the landscape, the laughter shared over a snack on a wind-swept bench, and the quiet realisation that when we head out into the wild, we’re actually finding our way home to ourselves.

I love holding space for women to connect, slow down, and feel supported - without any pressure to be anything other than exactly who they are.
